Comments: I served with 2nd Plt, Golf Co., 2/8 in Grenada and Beirut. Our platoon was the left flank of the company. We named our position "Bedrock". Our Platoon Commander was Lt. Matthew Aylward, and our Platoon Sergeant was SSgt Michael Leiphart. Manny Cox, Dave Daugherty, George Dramis, and the rest of the Golf Co. Marines (and attachments) killed in Dec. 83 and Jan. 84 are in my thoughts quite a bit. This is a good web site, and I'm glad I found it. I'd like to hear from any Marines out there who may remember me.
