Comments: I remember all the short liberty time we had do to escorting the PLO and the initial deployment into Beirut. I remember sitting on the runway at the airport without any bunkers or places to hide and thinking... man I love this stuff. But being too young and dumb to realize what I was doing there in the first place, I realized it was mostly the other Marines I truly enjoyed being with and that I dearly miss to this day. I have tried to find these friends with no avail and only hope that this might bring some of us closer. I do remember SSgt Robinson, Henson, Kruger, Bess, Scott, Jordan, Shitbird, Cat Daddy, Ramos, Stinson, Grover just to name a few. If anyone has heard of these people and have any G2 on them could you please pass it on to me. But for those who did serve in Beirut, God Bless you all and thank you.
